It really depends what the aging parents are coping with -- physical disability? cognitive decline? There are so many different kinds of vulnerabilities. There are a lot of products out there trying to build on the AI-tech boom to help aging-in-place safer, but a lot of them are very new. One tride-and-true thing is GPS monitoring for a parent with cognitive decline. We stuck an apple tag in my dad's Patagonia zip up that he always wears, for example.
