In short, no. Which is such a heartbreak. Acceptance is such a big part of the journey for those of us who love something with this diagnosis. Having said that, no journey is the same, so even though it's not curable, there is no one way it will unfold. That can give you some relief because in many ways that diagnosis doesn't mean one thing, other than eventual death (and hey, truth is that we're all on that train).
